A Farm-to-Table Project Supporting the Covenant Fund

The farm-to-table program at Covenant Woods continues to grow exponentially. Recently, the program expanded in a new direction with the introduction of Covenant Woods handmade soap, set to be available in the Covenant Woods market.

Made in small batches with the help of Covenant Woods residents, each 4.5-ounce bar reflects a focus on quality, care, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Residents assist with the soap creation process, including demolding, cutting, and packaging, working alongside the Farm Manager, Madison Hall, and Horticulture Technician, Dave Brown. The soaps are available in three scents: Lavender, Rosemary Cedar, and Sage Lemongrass. Beginning January 12, 2026, these soaps will be available for purchase in the Covenant Woods campus market.

This handmade soap project also supports a mission that has been central to Covenant Woods for more than a century. Proceeds from soap sales benefit the Covenant Fund, which ensures that no resident is asked to leave his or her home due to financial circumstances beyond their control. Since 1883, the Covenant Fund has provided more than 50 million dollars in confidential assistance to residents, helping cover medical needs, transportation, and monthly service fees when needed.

Covenant Woods handmade soap reflects the care and collaboration behind the farm-to-table program while also helping sustain the Covenant Fund and its commitment to resident care and peace of mind.
