After an extensive interview process, Covenant Woods is excited to announce Juanita Parks as our new Chief Financial Officer. She will be joining the Covenant Woods team in August. Juanita Parks, CPA, has amassed over two decades of leadership experience in finance. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Williamsburg Landing, where she significantly strengthened the organization’s financial position during her 10-year tenure. Collaborating closely with the leadership team, Juanita played a pivotal role in expanding services for both current and future residents.
Prior to her role at Williamsburg Landing, Juanita held the position of Controller at a rapidly growing ambulance transportation service. Her expertise spans financial management, budget execution, audit oversight, financial analysis, project management, and proficiency in both public and tax-exempt financing.
Juanita earned her B.S. in Accounting from Salisbury University and holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Ashworth College. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), and she graduated from LEAD Greater Williamsburg Class of 2019.
