The full continuum of care under one roof.

When you choose to live at Covenant Woods, you may also choose a Life Care contract that assures access to Assisted Living, Health Care and Memory Support services should your care needs change in the future. In addition, Life Care provides financial predictability since those levels of care are provided without substantial increases in monthly fees. If you have long-term care insurance or choose not to select Life Care, fee-for-service plans are another option. Also of great importance is the fact that this continuum of care is provided in our Manor East building, which is directly connected to The Manor, The Lodge and their many amenities.

The Expansion of Manor East at Covenant Woods

Covenant Woods broke ground July 19, 2016, for the $34 million expansion of its Health Care Center, Manor East. This 115,138 square foot project will include the construction of 12 additional assisted living/memory support units, 23 additional nursing units, and the conversion of 10 semi-private nursing units to 20 private nursing units. In addition, the project will add new therapy rooms, new living room and dining room areas, and include the renovation of all existing assisted living, memory support and nursing care residences. Upon completion in early 2019, the building will be a new state of the art space with 60 assisted living and 62 healthcare residences, providing assistance and care for a total of 102 residents.

The project team: W.M. Jordan Company, Ziegler Investment Banking, RLPS Architects Dixon Hughes Goodman, and Hunton & Williams. Other members of the project team included Civil Site Engineers Watershed Consulting; Landscape Architect Purvis and Associates, Inc.; Owners’ Representatives Mathews Development and Milestone Partners; Financial Consultant- Sawgrass Partners; Future Law; and Hanover County.
